North Platte High School Exchange

 

Esta semana, en las clases de inglés de Secundaria y tercer ciclo de Primaria, hemos iniciado una serie de actividades de intercambio con una High School de North Platte, Nebraska, USA. Es en la que estudió y dió clases nuestra querida auxiliar de conversación, Kerri, que ha conseguido que ambos colegios comiencen esta emocionante experiencia. Hemos escrito postales contándoles cómo es nuestro país y nuestro pueblo y también estamos participando en una Writing Wiki, donde compartimos preguntas, imágenes e información sobre nuestro colegio y sus actividades. Halloween and Thanksgiving Day

On Halloween day, Kerri, our language assistant, gave us some patterns to work in groups: they were monsters, vampires, mummies...It was a really scary day! Our creatures are on the doors and windows of the classrooms, or hanged from the ceiling... Beware of them! Some weeks later, on the 28th of November, all the students in the school celebrated Thanksgiving Day. It was a perfect day to think about the things God has given us: our family, friends, school, food... and we made a huge poster with a very tall tree and a lake, and we used our hands to make leaves, animals that fly, ground animals and fish. It´s amazing and beautiful!
